Faculty:A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to students at Mount Carmel College in its various departments.,Mount Carmel College was established in the year 1948 by the Carmelite Sisters of St. Teresa in order to fulfill the demand of higher education for women. The college was granted the ‘autonomous’ status in the year 2005 and was recognized as a College with Potential for Excellence in 2006. The college offers undergraduate and post graduate courses in the field of arts, commerce and science. The college is affiliated to Bangalore University and is accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ grade.
